The Anderson Project

To balance the home's bright overall tone, we chose a darker marble backsplash, adding striking contrast and visual interest to the kitchen space.

This exciting project began with the purchase of a modest 600-square-foot home situated on a picturesque lot. We saw the potential and took on the challenge of transforming it into a spacious retreat. After carefully demolishing the existing structure while preserving the basement, we expanded the living space to an impressive 2,000 square feet.

The crown jewel of this renovation was the second-floor layout, designed to maximize the stunning, unobstructed views of Lake Simcoe. We strategically placed the kitchen, dining area, and living room on this level to take full advantage of the panoramic vistas. Included on the second floor were two bathrooms, the primary and an office. The kitchen features elegant 12-foot ceilings and as you move into the living room, the ceiling dramatically soars to 24 feet, amplifying the sense of openness and grandeur.
